Custom guitar Works has over 10 years experience in the art of aging.

We first workout with the customer the degree of relicing and the begin to go about the delicate art of ageing the guitar so it looks authentically old..

To do this we will often re-spray the guitar in a special aged yellow nitro that will continue to yellow and even crack in time.

To complete this illusion we chemically bath the hardware to tarnish and make it also look age appropriate.
